| In 1997, Megan Riera and Lillian Mitchell formed the architectural
practice of Mitchell and Riera Architects. We started our firm because
of mutual professional and personal respect, and a shared sense of
enthusiasm and interest in our chosen field. Since the beginning, we
have been exercising that enthusiasm, bringing great design to life for
our clients.
With extensive backgrounds in both public and private work, we are able
to offer a complete range of architectural services. As a small firm,
we focus closely on each project and our clients. We believe that good
design has a permanence and respect for its environment that is
inherently sustainable whether utilizing recent technologies or
traditional methods of construction.
As architects, we are design generalists, believing that good design
transcends any one category of building type; that each project type
